In the words of Helen Levitt, “since I’m inarticulate, I express myself with images.”
This pretty much encapsulates my work and motivation. My photography teacher Ilir Bajraktari encouraged (shamed?) me to find the time and space to explore. This website is a result of that experience and many others who have encouraged me to find a hobby (I was listening).
The primary influences for my work include moments of transition, balance, and humor. I am forever fascinated with portraits: capturing a person in one moment with deep authenticity and honesty. Photography forces me to find perspective in everyone and everything that I shoot, developing me artistically and personally.
